There are some places where any contamination can bring severe problems to those who are working or staying there. Clean room flooring is used in just such a situation to stop contaminants from entering the area on shoes or feet. Although this kind of covering is the first line of defense against contamination, users still have to check that it is working at its optimum level. They usually put all results on a graph so that they have visual evidence of what is going on and where. This also allows the user to advise the manufacturer if the product is living up to expectations too.
