In these days of ecological awareness, most people want to stay environmentally friendly if at all possible. Even green modular homes are available these days with all the materials being used either being recycled or not putting undue pressure on the resources of the world. Indeed, these factory homes, as they are called, could be the coming thing to fill the gap with housing shortages since they are fully fledged dwellings with all the modern facilities on board.
They can be used for many different purposes, of course, but using them to house people temporarily is not that bizarre. Prefabricated places have been with us for many decades and they came about because of the acute housing shortages after World War 11. However, the concoctions of today are vastly different from the ones which were around then since they often had asbestos within the fabric of the building. This could never be allowed today thanks to the research which showed that asbestos caused terrible health problems.
These days, very modern methods are used when producing these houses so there is absolutely no need to worry on the health side of things. Indeed, so modern are they that those people with allergies would probably be better off sleeping in one of these beauties. There is no fabric to consider and the air should be cleaner than in the modern houses that we use since there will be no pollutants to speak of.
These companies which produce the houses have also gone one step further too. Not only do they have stock designs on hand, they can also custom make the house to just the specifications that the buyer wants at little extra charge. Once the design has been worked out, all it takes is a quick journey from factory to where it is to be erected and a couple of days with a screw driver or household tools to have it up and ready for occupation. Even those with little experience of do-it-yourself methods can build one of these but this does not preclude the local handyman coming in to do the work instead.
There are obviously many uses for these great houses too and they range everywhere from just having extra space for the family to housing home gyms or Jacuzzis. Indeed, many people use them for the kids to do their homework in and then doubling up as extra accommodation for the wild teenagers or family members who want to come and stay for a few days.
Yet others use them as holiday dwellings placed somewhere scenic which precludes the necessity to carry everything but the kitchen sink when the family goes on holiday. They also provide a very useful extra income stream too for those people who want the place to pay for itself.
Either way, it is obvious that these little gems are here to stay and provide many different answers to space problems. This works well if the family is growing up since, eventually, the parents can use it to pursue hobbies that they never had time for before.

Stewart Wrighter has noticed an increase of
factory homes because of the economic times of today. He has noticed an increase of
green modular homes because they are cost-efficient as well as environmentally-friendly.
